Welcome Fellow Boot Campers
SNOA Leadership offers training to all of it's officials prior to the start of the season. We believe proper training is an essential part of getting the best out of our officials by working with them in the classroom, and on the basketball court. Help us by taking advantage of these referee training sessions that'll be a benefit to yourself, your crew, the players, coaches, and all parties in attendance. We're looking forward to seeing you grow.

Wear comfortable running shoes and bring a whistle

The primary focus of these training sessions are 2-person mechanics

Learn where to stand in the frontcourt (Lead/Trail position)

Learn your Primary and Secondary Coverage Areas (PCA)

Learn how to obtain and maintain a dependable position to referee a play

Learn the importance of practicing your signals in the mirror

Learn to use the correct path to report to the table
