Middle School Championships
Varsity Level Officials,
SNOA will host a training camp that's designed to assist middle to upper level officials. The entire basketball board will be there, along with the instructional chair, the Nevada rules interpreter, the tournament assignor for SNOA, and the lead ratings evaluator. Be ready and willing to learn, and you are guaranteed to leave this camp a better official..

SNOA constantly looks for new and exciting opportunities to assist in the growth of it's officials. This camp was filled with a wide variety of experienced coaches, high level players looking to showcase their talents, and a moderate number of team followers who were eager to cheer their team on. With Clinician experts nearby to monitor each court, this environment provided space for officials to learn, collaborate and grow.

The Camp/Tournament was put together by Wayne Merino, Chris Rivers, and Ray Johnson. Gentlemen, thanks for allowing us to utilize your events for the purpose of training our officials. We are looking forward to partnering with you in the future.
This camp was arranged and assigned by Preston Clipper. Ed Brown observed the entire showcase, and took notes on how the association can get the most out of the camp towards benefiting it's officials. Tom Sawyer went over the NFHS new rules, as well as the points of emphasis for the upcoming season. He presented a few visual demonstrations, and also allowed time for Q & A. Rick Young was able to get a head start on rating players by observing officials prior to the start of the season with his handy note pad, and Larry McKay was also in attendance with the intent of viewing officials with potential state playoff/championship goals in mind. Our guest speaker of the event was local NBA official Tre Maddox. He provided officials with quality, high level information that separates the best from the rest. A camp wouldn't be complete without game evaluators. Here's a list of who came out to assist:
