ABOUT SNOA BASKETBALL
Since 1951, the Southern Nevada Officials Association has been serving the
Clark County School District and all NIAA affiliated schools.
The purpose of the Association shall be to provide quality basketball officiating, to maintain and strive to improve basketball officiating through an education and training program; to promote fair play and sportsmanship among people involved in basketball contests; and, to encourage good fellowship among members of the Association and others interested in basketball.
SNOA provides court officials, scorekeepers and clock operators for all high school basketball games in the Southern Nevada area. SNOA also provides court officials for middle school basketball and recreational basketball programs.
During the off-season of 2022, SNOA entered a partnership with the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). This partnership will involve a campaign to assist in recruiting new officials, providing a place for SNOA to conduct meetings, as well as a facility for SNOA to train all of its current officials.
